The service department was great! As I called the wrong place for an oil change & some car issues, Jeff Perry accommodates my mistake and got me in. They listened to my concerns, addresses them, and informed me of other minor issues they found through their inspection. I appreciate their efficiency and thorough inspection.
Unfortunately this partly my fault to but bought used veihicle from jeffy perry as is purchase which no one should ever do. Had a check engine light they let me go check it out at anyplace of my choice. I took it too a local parts store that can run diagnostics. I asked for a full diagnostic but they only ran a lartial or thats all rhuer machine can do.
I was told just a simple repair is needed and would only be around $100 to 200 to do so great i will get it fixed easy and have a nice car for 6k. After buyung car it starts stalling out and i take it to a mechanic who now tells me the car has known issue for make and model plus yr of car with the timing chain poor design. 1.7k repair. No i did not take it back even it be being less than a month after buying car. They made it very clear it was as is buy and anything wrong with the car was on me.
By the time it took me to raise the money for the repair after dropping my money on initial buy of the car (2 weeks) the chain broke and the engine went down completely and needed to be replaced for 6k. I waz also told engine had no oil which i do blame dealer for when you sell a car top off fluids and these are major purchase you make good money off of you can atleast top off things like oil.
Moral of story never buy as is cars not worth it.
